1. Processing Time:
- Orders are typically processed within 1-2 business days after payment confirmation, excluding weekends and holidays.
- Pre-order items will be shipped on or shortly after their release date.
2. Shipping Methods:
- We offer standard and expedited shipping options.
- Standard shipping: Delivery time varies depending on your location, usually ranging from 3 to 7 business days.
- Expedited shipping: For customers who need their books sooner, we offer expedited shipping options with guaranteed delivery within 1-3 business days.
3. Shipping Rates:
- We strive to offer competitive shipping rates to ensure affordability for our customers. At this time our standard shipping rate is fixed at £2.99.
- Free shipping may be available for orders meeting certain criteria, such as order value thresholds or promotional offers. Please check our website for current free shipping promotions.
4. Tracking Information:
- Once your order is shipped, you will receive a confirmation email containing tracking information.
- You can track the status of your shipment using the provided tracking number through the carrier's website.
5. Shipping Restrictions:
- We currently only ship to addresses within the United Kingdom.
- Some products may be subject to shipping restrictions due to size, weight, or content regulations.
- We do not ship to P.O. boxes at this time. Please provide a physical address for delivery.
6. Order Tracking and Support:

7. Returns and Refunds:
- Please refer to our Returns Policy for information on returning items for a refund or exchange.
9. Holiday Shipping:
- During peak holiday seasons, shipping carriers may experience delays beyond our control. We recommend placing orders in advance to ensure timely delivery during these periods.
10. Incorrect Delivery Addresses:
- We will deliver the products ordered to the address provided for delivery when the order was placed. Delivery addresses provided must be accurate and include a full postcode, in accordance with postal service addressing regulations. If an order is delayed or lost in the post due to an incorrect or incomplete address/postcode being provided by the customer, the resend charge will be applicable.
11. Returned Due To Failed Delivery Attempts:
- If your purchase has been returned due to failed delivery attempts then unfortunately you will need to pay a small redelivery fee of £2.99 to contribute towards the cost before we can resend the item. If the redelivery fee is not paid we will charge you the full amount for the shipping costs + 50% administration fee.
12. Items that have not yet been delivered:
- If your item has not been delivered within the estimated timescales shown on your confirmation email please allow an extra 5 working days for your item to be delivered to you before contacting us via email on hello@prelovedlibrary.co.uk
Working days = Monday to Friday and DO NOT include weekends (Saturday and Sunday), bank holidays or public holidays
In the event that there is a claim of non delivery of an item we will send a replacement. We do not provide refunds for claims of an item not being delivered.
Estimated delivery times are all estimates provided by Royal Mail, DPD, FedEx, DHL, UPS and unfortunately, cannot be guaranteed.
